Nicia R. - 1000 Mile War Vignette
|
|
Modified Tamiya Barnyard kit german shepard to look more like a husky. Recreated passage from book: For company, men brought a vast number of pet dogs into the Aleutians. Colonel Eareckson's pilots flew a solitary little tree down to Umnak, a gift for the use of the colonel's pet sled dog, Skootch. They planted it inside a wooden fence and put up a sign. "Umnak National Forest." It was the only tree in the Aleutians.
